Homemade Vaporizer Instructions

Just to clarify what we’re talking about here: we are defining a herbal vaporizer as a device used for inhaling the active ingredients of herbs without the need for combustion.
Home Made Vaporizer: What you Need:
- A clear light bulb – 100 watt offers best heat resistance
- A plain 0.5 liter/16 fluid ounce bottle with metal or plastic cap
- Two glass tubes (or bendy plastic straws at a push)
- An empty plastic pen
- A sharp knife
- Electrical or duct tape
- Sandpaper
- Small wrench or pliers
- Glue gun
Home Made Vaporizer Instructions
- Cut off the lower part of the light bulb with a knife and sand away the sharp metal edges
- Remove the filaments and all contents of the light bulb with the wrench; alternatively, break them out with a pair of pliers
- Unscrew the bottle cap and try to fit it in the metal portion of the light bulb. It's better to use a slightly bigger cap than a smaller one
- If the cap is too big, fix it using the electrical or duct tape
- Make two holes in the cap using the sharp knife
- Break the glass tubes to the desired length and sand the edges smooth. If you’re using bendy straws, just cut them to the desired length
- Put two plastic straws or one glass tube into one of the holes to create a mouthpiece
- Put the empty pen into the other hole to act as an intake tube
- Rinse your new vaporizer to clear it of dust and debris before use.
